Me too !!!!!!! Just got finished watching all the performances. Miki was fantastic !!!!! Absolutely gorgeous !!!! She was hugely underscored. I love her performance. She performed this program all the way, beautifully, elegantly, even her fingertips movements were so delicate and detailed. Miki is so strong. Honestly, I kind of expected the scoring to go like this, after seeing the way they've been scoring this Olympics and the hometown scoring advantages they have been giving. I'm so proud of Miki. MIKI ALWAYS AND FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I also think she was under scored and btw Mao also. It casts a shadow over figure skating. Anyway, Im soooo proud of Miki now that the oly competition is over. She looked fantastic and beautiful. Miki IS the queen of the ice. She did her best for us and Team Japan under enormous pressure & questionable judging etc. Mao also, in all her splendid glory, flowers held aloft and triumphant on the podium. Mao = our beautiful triple axel queen. What courage. Japan can be proud to have daughters such as Miki & Mao and I hope they get the adulation they deserve upon their return to their homeland. I gotta take a break peeps; I need to collect my thoughts on the Olys and savor in quite solitude the heroic effort put forth by Miki and Mao. Team Japan + Sochi 2014 = 3 on the podium. It can happen. | |

| Miki was so beautiful, just breathtaking !!! Exquisite moves all through the program !!
I had read here and there that Miki's jumps were temporarily getting off tweak so I was really worried, but she certainly controlled herself and gave the most she can.
I'm so proud of you, Miki !!! You gave us some heavenly smiles on the Olympic Ice .... Biggest gift to me!

| You can read in every Japanese media but Miki says (in essence) that - she's so glad that she's been a figure skater - she isn't satisfied with her result but is happy about herself giving that performance - thanks her fans from her heart for their support - the idea of going to Sochi might not be a bad idea Of course Miki will be at Worlds !! | |

| She seems confident that she made her Olympics worthy of her efforts up till now, but she also is ambitious toward her revenge at Worlds in March.
You can read her frank and open press conference here (total 6 pages): http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/olympic/2010/news/skate/news/20100227-OYT1T00703.htm http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/olympic/2010/news/skate/news/20100227-OYT1T00707.htm http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/olympic/2010/news/skate/news/20100227-OYT1T00709.htm http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/olympic/2010/news/skate/news/20100227-OYT1T00713.htm http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/olympic/2010/news/skate/news/20100227-OYT1T00715.htm http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/olympic/2010/news/skate/news/20100227-OYT1T00716.htm

| Another Miki article. A little critical but has some quotes from her. Take it with a grain of salt. Im not sure if NBC here in the US will show Miki's performance in the Gala . I'll have to wait and see. http://mdn.mainichi.jp/mdnnews/sports/news/20100227p2a00m0sp007000c.html | |

| I missed It MikiAndo fan#1! NBC either didn't show it or I wasn't watching. I saw YuNa and Lysacek etc but not Miki. I wasn't interested in the bob sled thing etc so I was kinda switching back and forth. This really sucks . Oh well, I'll see her on the podium at Worlds. I always feel kinda sad when the Olys are over...its kinda like what the kids feel when Christmas is over. . The good thing is, I love Miki even more now if thats even possible. I hope the Japanese press don't turn on her because she didn't medal. They're kinda rough sometimes. Hats off to everyone on the forum, you peeps made the Olys even better what with all the posts on Miki. ttyl. | |

That fits my feelings exactly. NBC did not show Miki. I am so angry They also did not show Mao, Mirai, Daisuke, Lambiel, Shen & Zhou and many others. NBC's coverage of these Olympics has been the worst ever. Constantly cutting in and out of different events, their blatantly biased comments and coverage, really crap. - Bill508 wrote:

Hats off to you too, Bill, and everyone on the forum. Yes, it's definitely been great to see all the posts, info, photos, articles and links.

Great to hear about Miki's gala performance, MikiAndoFan#1. I can't wait to see it !!!! Since they didn't show Miki here, I will have to wait until it comes out on YouTube. No thanks to NBC

| OK DragonPhoenix. That explains why I missed Miki, Mao and the others. Ditto on the cutting in, back and forth between events. It drove me crazy. NBC made a mess of it. Your right, You Tube it is when someone posts it. | |

| Hi, I made the video montage of Miki Music by Ayaka (絢香) "We all live under the same sky (みんな空の下)". Ayaka is Miki's best friend singer and they were born on the same day of the same year (18 Dec., 1987). Miki performed to Ayaka's music at 2007 World gala. Hope you enjoy it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrIgnvDviSY Miki, you're not alone... We all live under the same sky | |
