World Championships 2010

I know, I know! It's super early! But I got some bad news.

Yukari Nakano withdrew from Worlds because of her shoulder injury. I wanted to her to win a medal so much!

Im glad you started the Worlds thread MikiAndoFan#1. It's never to early if Miki is involved:). Should be as informative and fun reading as the Oly posts were. I read where YuNa headed right back to Toranto to train for it as opposed to a victory stop over in Korea. Anyone know if Miki is back in Japan? Connecticut? New Jersey? Just wondering.

Ok... I don't know if it's true, but I read that Miki and Nobunari were going to Russia with Nikolai. Maybe to train?

The speculation that Miki and Nobu will go to Russia is about the next season after this Worlds, IIRC. And that was only Russian media's expectation...

Anyway it's the 100th Worlds and I definitely would like Miki to make the podium.
Of course I'm not putting pressure on her, but since she says that she wants more speed to her skating than at Olys, and that she wants her 3-3 to be ratified, it's okay for us to send her boost messages !!

I hope she has finally conquered her 4-year-lasting trauma at this Vancouver Olys, before going into Torino again. But she surely seems to have.
She said in the TV interviews that it was after the Free Skate that she felt, for the firt time in her skating life FROM THE BOTTOM OF HER HEART, true joy to be a figure skater.
She surely seems happy these few days so she must have made some big mental breakthrough within herself.

Go! Miki !!! No holding back! Give it all !!!

Oh, I see! So maybe Nikolai will invest on them more for the 2014 Olympics than the 2010 Olympics?

I would love to see Miki win her second World title! For me, one title is enough, but a few months ago I read a comment at FSU. And the person said that he/she thought Miki and Mao would be like the other Japanese, with only one title. So this comment made me want another gold medal for Miki!

I want to see Miki get the gold in Italy like you guys...I hope she does. Kinda off topic but its interesting article about Mao wanting to go for the quad with Pleshako's (sic) help. Miki should do the same as she IS capable of it. Has a short vid in it to.

Since your location is Neveda and Miki is listed on the "Stars on Ice" tour, so maybe you can see her in one of the cities?

And yeah, not only in Tokyo and Osaka but probably in some of the cities on that SOI tour .... not confirmed yet but most probably.

I think Carolina will go. People say there are tons of photos of her in the streets of Turin.



So team Morozov will go to Turin very early! I used a translator to see what the article said, and I think it doesn't mention Miki. Maybe the translator is "broken"?

It only mentions Nobu but that would mean the team will be there complete.

Caro and Miki are friends, AFAIK. Val and Miki is also close because they train on the same rink.

And yes, Carolina and Miki are friends! I read somewhere that at Junior Worlds, Miki was disappointed with her SP and Carolina was there to make Miki feel better!

According to Miki's mom on MA&F board, Miki is now in Italy with the team practicing.

Only 10 days till the official practice sessions start ....

LP: Russia Cup's dress

SP: Oly's one

And Rostelecom's dress is the most well received among skating fans in NA, it seems.

I don't mean to follow the majority but there surely is something exceptional to that costume ... very classy .... archaic class?

As for EX, my choice is the black/deep violet one.

And about the dresses, for the SP the one she used at the Olympics, for the LP the one she used at Rostelecom Cup or the one she used at the Olympics and for the Exhibition, the black and purple one or the one she used at the Olympics! I love them all!
