Here at Bill's request. Miki's words:

""Well, my condition (as a skater) right now is perhaps the best I could make for the moment, but I have a good feeling that I can make further improvements. It's that very feeling that I couldn't elevate in the past but this year I really feel I am growing up. Yet another cool vid Fan#1. Miki is awesome. Fingers still crossed for our Miki at Natls this week. Miki, Mao, "Mini Mao", Haruka, Akiko and Fumie. Team Japan: It doesn't get any better.

I keep on practicing for the World champion ships in Tokyo.

Miki: I worked hard to improve my representation skills in last season. I heard that I became a fascinated skater by other people. So I want to put jumps　in the program, that's better.

I think Japanese Nats is the most important competiton of a season, and Worlds of this season holds in Tokyo.
So I consider. "If I can shine be myself, I would be chosen to the Worlds representation."

I didn't notice but Miki has been ranked No. 1 on Ice Network's ranking since Dec 27.

I know it doesn't mean much to Miki who I imagine will care more about the skating itself rather than numbers, but still it's not something a skater can easily achieve nor anything to be sad about ...
