| Hey it was really "radio" so I listened not watched. The interviewer, probably not so core-fans of figure skating, seemed to have not prepared the questions well enough, but Miki and Alena were answering generously. I can't speak Russian unfortunately so I could only understand the Engish part of Miki. Miki spoke a bit of Russian. | |

| There was a video translation, so I watched and listened to it.
Miki was charming and she smiled and laughed a lot. Thanks God she's not crying anymore.
She understands Russian quite well, it was obvious by her reaction to the questions and I'm suprised her Russian is good enough, she speaks with a strong accent but rather fluently.
At the beginning Miki congratulated Russians on Victory Day which is celebrated tomorrow.
She hasn't decided yet whether she takes a year off or not, she has to discuss it with Nikolai.

| Well, what else... Miki's heart is not free, other men have no chances. From russian food she tried borshch, and as every Japanese person she was asked about sushi in Moscow. Miki was pretty polite saing they are so-so.
There was a phone call from a man who was interested how Nikolai behaves at the practices. Miki said he behaves in the same manner, but she likes it, it helps her a lot. And Miki doesn't mind if people come to her trainings.
Miki would like to try a quad again but now it's more difficult because her body has changed. In her first visits to Moscow she was in Red Square only, this time she was on Patriarch's pond, a very famous place in Moscow due to Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov and his book "Master and Margarita". Miki said she would like to read it someday in English first.
The woman who was interviewing Miki and Alena is a sport journalist and the man is not connected with sport at all. I wish they asked more questions from the Internet and took more phone calls.
Anyway it was he first time for Miki on the russian radiostation live. A couple months ago she and Nikolai were invited to the this radio but Miki refused to come because she was afraid she couldn't speak Russian well enough.
In general I'm glad to see Miki in a good mood.

| Thanks a lot tusjka !!
Yes maybe I pressed the audio button and came a pop-up and I listened through it, it must have been something unnecessary.
My tweet friend had these photos on twitpic but there may be original places to get it: http://twitpic.com/4vgt49 http://twitpic.com/4vgska http://twitpic.com/4vgrif http://twitpic.com/4vgnxy http://twitpic.com/4vgm73 http://twitpic.com/4vgld1 http://twitpic.com/4vgk7r

| "Miki's heart is not free, other men have no chances"..... Why do I find that sad? Does she have a steady boyfriend? Or is she so busy with her training/skating that she has no time for romance at this stage of life? Those twitpics were really cool. Our World Champeon Miki has a beautiful smile. | |

| Thank you so much, tusjka for the translation of interview. And thank for all the picture of Miki, she was stunning. She said she in love with THE MAN does she specify his name or she is sure that we can assume who the man is? Anyway, I wish her all happiness! | |

| No, Miki never mentioned the name but I think everyone knows who it is. She is skipping next season and going to help Nikolai in training junior skaters. Novogorsk. Miki and Nikolai at Alena Leonova practice. | |

| Luv the pic. Luv seeing our beautiful ice angel Miki laughing and happy. Miki is skiping next season????? I feel ill. Im really disappointed now. Next GP season will really suck without having Miki to root for. As sad as I am, I respect Miki's decision and hope she has a great time training the young skaters. Luckily, I love Mao and Mini Mao as well so I'll be rooting for those two ice angels in the GP. I hope MIki enjoys her sabbatical from competition and comes back for the 2012 season strong as ever. Hopfully she'll skate at Natls & Worlds...right? Miki: We, your devoted fans, will always love you come hell or high water. | |

| I'm glad to hear that Miki is in love!! For the person in question I believe that there is no need to draw a picture for us now Somewhat less glad to learn that she will not skate in an complet season. Fortunately there are other interesting skaters but miki's style is special. I'll probably watch more Kim, Asada and Lepisto next season I go for the fever! | |
