Here are some minor topics about and around Miki.

Miki has been sending greeting cards in reply to almost each of the fan letters sent to her in the past two years or so.
The cards vary in design using different shots of her skating, each with her real autograph and your address hand written by Miki.

I went to the show and the party!!

It was a really superb and touching show.

Miki performed 2 brand-new programs and "A Thousand Winds".
All three of them were GEM quality!

The various children's skates were completely integrated into the show.
Marvelously designed staging.

Johnny, Sarah, Stephane....never seen such intense performances from them before!!

You can see some scenes of Miki here, but what's thrilling is that they showed how Kenji choreos the star skaters...
he doesn't prepare anything before the sessions on ice!!
He creates on their first meet on the rink, and there he improvises the moves that highlight the character of the skater.

Miki turns 24 today, Dec.18 !!

In her recent photos she looks much younger than last year so I sort of had a lot of uneasiness increasing her age on the title.
