The top 3 men are so tied! I hope Nobunari can still capture a medal!

While my interest in the Mens event isn't all that high, it was exciting watching it what with Russia, USA and Japan so close. It should be a great FS tommorrow. Im torn between routing for Team Japan and Lysacek. Luckily, I have no such split feelings when it comes to the Ladies. Team Japan = #1.

Ditto on their retirement. Will Fumie retire now? Will Miki if she wins the gold? (I hope not - that would be sad)). Yeah MikiAndoFan#1, Akiko is kind of an unknown for me. Shes like 24 I think (on a come back?) and has been under my radarfor sure but since she's part of Team japan Im routing for her too. Actually I was hoping for Yukari or Fumie to round out Team Japan. YuNa is a dream on the ice I admit & Carolina & Rochette (sic) of Canada are definity dangerous competitors and seem to be some what dark horses but who knows what will happen. How I love Miki and Mao my two favs. Miki a lot more so then Mao. Lets hope our dream comes true with Miki on the gold. Team Japan = #1.

Hey, Miki did her first training at Pacific Coliseum!
In spite of her weariness after the flight, she landed 3lz-3lo cleanly and said she would do 3-3 in SP

About FS, 3T-2lo-2lo would be changed to 2A-2lo-2lo for increasing the quality and she renews the ending pose!

Yes, the Olympics are just NOW!!!!

This is a treasure book !!!!!!!
A VEEERY LOOOONG interview of Miki, she talks of practically everything important, in her own words, from her childhood till now, all of her joy and agonies she has experienced, maybe except for some facts related to others' privacy I imagine.

In the preface Miki says she got headache from having such a lengthy talk, LOL.

Many beautiful photos of Miki from her babyhood, childhood, schoolgirl days till this season.

It's so filled with honesty, and I'm really amazed how she explains about her state of mind at every instance of her past in such an accurate way. Very original style of language.

You'll have to wait for the translations. Maybe a year later?

BTW, Congrats to the Men's medalists !! Especially to Daichan !
And too bad for that shoe=lace, Nobu....but he has his Worlds coming so he can make a revenge there!
