Miki 2010/2011 News

As always, I got a little too excited! Just a little!



So, please post any news regarding the 2010/2011 season here!



As for the GP, I'd love it if Miki was assigned to Skate Canada and Trophée Eric Bompard! Skate Canada is the only assignment Miki hasn't gone to and, for some unknown reason, I love Trophée Eric Bompard!



As for the songs, what songs do you think Miki should skate to?

I don't really have any special opinions about the GP assignments, even though NHK is my favorite..!

As for the music choices, I would like her to try something a bit more calm and quiet than her latest ones. What do you think? I loved MCML!

Happy Easter also to all the great peeps on the forum. The excitment expressed keeps the board exciting - I think. You guys are really on top of all the latest news. I took rezev's invite and joined the Mao forum (don't worry peeps, Miki is still my #1 fav) but I like Mao also so its a good way to keep up on all the happenings on Mao & Team Japan from the Mao perpective. Anyway, keep the excitment going guys thru the long summer and we'll be back in the game come the GP.

back to the topic then, well, I like Miki to skate to music like her 2007 programs especially the SP. That program is really special. I never forget that SP program of her til now. So, I wish she will choose some kind of music like that.

I also loved Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence!



I would love it if Miki skated to Dark Eyes! I love that music! Or something very dramatic!

Oh yeah Fan#1, I agree, Miki does look beautiful as always. Japan's treasure. Even though I don't know what they're saying I find these Japanese TV vids interesting to watch and I can never get enough of Miki so keep em coming if you find more on YT ect.

Miki was beautiful, and showed us a smile that was rich.
I think her father and Soutaro received so much LOVE from her performance at the Olympics

She said, "I feel I am most happy that I came into the world as Miki Ando"
I was very moved by this her words...
More than anything, I'm happy that she and I live in the same generation!!!
And I'm happy to meet with many Miki's fans here

Someone at Ballerina on Ice said that Mao revealed her coreographers for next season on a TV show. Did Miki mention anything? I'd love it if Miki went to Lori Nichol and Kenji Miyamoto!

Yes, with Yuna, Akiko and Alena together at both competitions !!

I'm excited already !!
Strong opponents from team USA are Mirai at CoC and Ashley at CoR.
And Sarah at CoR.

Will Yuna participate for sure? If so, a tough game in both China and Russia.

I'm not sure if it's news but yesterday Johnny Weir had a chat in his twitter and he mentioned Miki several times. He loves to perform with her, they are good friends and when he was asked who gives the best hugs he said Plushenko, his coaches and Miki!
