Miki's recent trivialities

Hi.
Here are some minor topics about and around Miki.

1.
Miki has been sending greeting cards in reply to almost each of the fan letters sent to her in the past two years or so.
The cards vary in design using different shots of her skating, each with her real autograph and your address hand written by Miki.

2.
Chukyo University will have a sub ice rink by the end of this month, and is prospected to have "Miki and Mao" in its nickname. Since the main rink is named Aurora, the sub rink was thought to be named Rainbow.

Hi.

JSF says they will transfer, from time to time, your fan letters and presents to the skaters.
They tell you
1. to clarify the skater you are sending on the envelope or the cover sheet;
2. that there is no need of tranfer fee, so shouldn't enclose postage stamps;
3. that the following is not allowed : food, flowers, plants, jewelry, money and refundable cheques and coupons, messages to skaters not within JSF such as pro and/or foreign skaters;
4. that they can't trasfer on specific dates such as Christmas, St.Valentines Day, etc.

A week ago, Miki was on the last day of the SOI Japan Tour that started in Jan.10 and consisted of three shows in Osaka and two in Tokyo.
She left a comment with words like
"(Bolero with) the vocal part added some show-like gorgeousnes, I think... I keep in mind to skate from my heart in every move I make."
"But I am still much behind Shizuka or Mao in my expression. I am willingly toward these shows which give me experience, and I look forward to put in what I learn here into my future competitions."
She had started this year '09 with two other shows, one on 8th and one on the 9th.
In the rest of her comment that day Miki seemed very eager toward Worlds LA and the games beyond.

Aww, she's always so humble Glad that she's looking forward to LA and that she is so eager to improve. That is typical Miki and it will show good results!

Some hours ago Chukyo University had the opening ceremony in which Miki, Mao, Tak and others participated.

For those who still havn't read it in Japanese or through the mostly uncomprehendable google translation, here are my interpretation (not translation) of Miki's post last Sunday, April 5th on MA&F.

She thanks many times in this post to her fans for their support.
Two anecdotes, as I see, during her days in LA.
She seems really happy to have achieved her season's best score.
She wishes to make further progress next season, in her way, and asks your support.
She sends you her love... oh well this last line is obvious with her two English words.

Miki recieved "Sports Contribution" awards from Prefecture of Aichi as well as from City of Nagoya, for her Worlds Bronze. Second time since her 07 Worlds Gold.

Media tells us that Miki prospects to be in NJ to train in early May.

Miki said in an interview with Asahi Newspaper that the reason she redeemed her normal nails in Worlds was to have a fresh mind toward skating.

Of course, fresh mind is more important, but if she can keep fresh mind and also have long multi-colored fingernails, it's great
